I need Loud and Clear 6.5 Components. Opinions and Experiences Needed

Recommended Posts

I need some 6.5 components that are crystal clear but get loud at the same time.

i looked at these Phoenix Gold Comp's

http://www.woofersetc.com/p6952/RSD65cs--Phoenix-Gold-65"-Component-Speaker-System.htm

but i saw somewhere a comment that they dont get too loud, i used to have some 6.5 eminence's for mids but they dont have the best SQ in my opinion.

im not looking to spend more than lets say $100ish

and im gonna either be powering my components with one of the following 2 amps:

460x2-Dual Amp

or

PC250-Precision Power Amp

which one isnt good?

if i want to take the easy way out, i can use the Dual amp since its already hooked up, but i mean if the precision power amp is gonna make'em sound noticeably different then i'll hook that one up.

Edit: im trying to stay in the low 100's cause im gettin kick panels made and those are gonna run me about 150 for the pair.

well u dont have to use a 4 channel, but imo 4 channels have more tune ability and usually sound better and if your gonna be running 4 speakers anyway y not

lol yea i was thinkin, i've never heard of quest.

but i checked q-logic and couldnt find any for my specific vehicle (07' Impala)

and i know what you mean about the tunability, the dual amp has some good tunability to it cause its powering a PA Horn right now and it sounds so fucking clear.

anyway.

so you dont think i can get much louder components than those Phoenix Gold ones i posted around the low $100's area?
