Needed a volt meter, didn't want it to look like one from walmart.

I got this cigarette lighter voltmeter from a buddy and I thought that it was hideous sticking out of my dash.

So I decided to rip her apart and cram it in my dash somewhere, which on a 1996 Isuzu hombre('96 sonoma or s10 is he same), turned out the be to the left of the AC vents.

Ended up with this a couple hours later: I ran wires straight from the battery just for this little guy too. haha. I wanted an accurate reading.

Wow, I got some responses! I just used a dremel and some plastic, small bit just so light could shine through from the LEDs, cut off piece to cut a square, and put a on/off switch in the ash tray.

I didn't think anyone would care much so I didn't really take any how-tos or inbetween pictures.
