hope your alienware doesnt turn into a $1500+ paperweight like mine did, and the fuckers refused to RMA it.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

It should play those 2 games with ease... One thing I would suggest, I believe that model has the ability to add a second HDD and RAID it in a stripe, the HDD's are the slowest things in laptop and I raided mine and that helped it drastically...But, out of the box, that one should be pretty bad ass! This is just a tweak I am suggesting... Did u order a custom skin for it?

So my desktop took a crap yesterday, Ive had it for like 4-5 years now. I got a thing in the mail from Alienware and decided to get a Alienware M15x. I really wanted a fast, gaming, laptop i could do editing and stuff on and this one looked and sounded badass. Heres the specs...

Alienware M15x, Cosmic Black

Intel Core i5-540M 2.53GHz (3.06Ghz Turbo Mode, 3M cache)

6GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1066MHz 1 x 2048MB + 1 x 4096MB

15.6-inch WideHD+ 1600x900 (900p) WLED

1GB ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5730

320GB SATAII 7,200RPM

Windows 7

Intel WiFi Link 5300 802.11AGN Half Mini Card

Anyone Have one? How do you like it?

I have the M15x, but it's the original model with the SmartBay so I could remove my CD drive to pop in an extra battery or hard drive. It was also before Dell bough them, so I've still got the ASUS board and all the old goodies. If I was you I'd have gone for the upgraded screen (1920x1200). I got it and it definitely is a great upgrade. Everybody says that a huge resolution on a small screen is pointless but god damn is it crystal clear and looks phenomenal when I'm running any game. It's definitely noticeably clearer and higher detail than any of my friend's rigs. Awesome video card choice and processor choice. The i7 is an awesome upgrade but the i5 is definitely powerful enough to drive that machine. Also glad to see you upgraded the wireless card. The hard drive size is fine because if it fills up too quick just grab an external drive and dump stuff on it. I think you'll love it and definitely won't be disappointed!

wtf is lolcats?

I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers.

I was hoping for 150 :(.

I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
