evermaxx Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 Specs: 2003 Jeep Grand Cherroke 4gage wiring 2 12" MTX 4500 Thunder [DVC 4OHM] 1 Boss 1600w 2ch [bridged] Well my damn fuses keep blowing and im not sure why.. I already did a new ground because I thought it wasnt good enough... So please help and tell me what I can do! The fuse that keeps blowing is the fuse on the amp its self. 7jezuz7 Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 (edited) Is 2 15 amp fuses what it came with? That's too small for 1600 rms Edit: nvm just read it than the amp is not fit to run your subs. If they sounded ok how you had them probably at 1 ohm, 4 ohms won't move them or power them anywere near what they should be getting especially not with an amp that only has 2 15 amp fuses.
