was wondering if anyone would be able to help answer my questions on;

-how i would go about getting a/some Fi subwoofers (no idea wat one i would get), and how i would be able to get them shipped to New Zealand?

-plus it would be really helpful if anyone knew how much doing something like this would cost me.

You can look over the different variations to see what fits your needs and price range.

But I'm sorry to say, shipping is insane. I did a rough estimate from Vegas to the middle of NZ (no clue where you live so I picked Franny Frontbum off a map), on a pair of 15" BTL's @ 150 lbs., and it was over a thousand US dollars.

With smaller subs/smaller magnets, you can cut weight from the shipping, but I still think it's going to be $500 - $700, before buying the speakers.

Yes, NZ is kinda FTL for shipping woofers that aren't sold retail here, maybe look at second hand DD or RE, thats probably your best bet.

thanks for the post, yeah i think the whole shipping idea isnt goning work if its going to cost me that much, which sucks, would really hav loved one of those subs. think i might look into the 2nd hand subs. is there anything i should look out for when looking at second hand ones? (like bad things)

If you use the ice site, you're gonna be fine because they are all proper enthusiasts that want to keep their reputation and aren't some street scammer on trademe trying to sell you some stolen Sonys (there are still good things on trademe though, lots of stuff is overpriced though). They are also friendly and (most) will gladly give you their number so you can go and check out the product.

It's the buy, sell and swap section but you need an account to view the section, pretty much make a account, go to the home page, click discussion (up the top of the page) then buy, sell and swap.
