need help figuring out why they did this

so what u going to do? get it fixed and send them the bill? when u pay that much there should be NO mistakes. well if you pay anyone there should be no mistakes.

theres nothing i can do,,ive even tried to get ahold of treo corperate,and nothing..the owner of the shop is really close to the president of treo ,,so im not going to get anywhere there

It's a fire hazard not having another set of fuses near those rear batteries. If the wire is cut or exposed the fuses can blow but power from the rear batts will continue to flow up to that fuse block. Also double check where they grounded the batteries and the alts.

At the very least make them refund you for the isolator, and add two more fuses before the rear batteries (the amps do have fuses too right). If they don't and you have a problem, your shit is going to go up like a match if you run into an issue with that cable and unless you carry tools there won't be a damn thing you can do about it. Really they should run 2 1/0 runs to the rear especially if that 1/0 is cheap wire as it could be rated well below 400a.

One other thing about fuses... You have 400a total going to the rear (fused that is). If you have more than the 2 AQ 2200's on that line you don't have enough fuse because those two amps alone can draw up to 200 each, 400 total.

If they refuse to rectify it contact the BBB, take it to another shop, get an estimate to have it done right, and talk to a lawyer.
