bumpnthump05 Posted June 23, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 23, 2010 It works 60% of the time all the time. OP, consider aeroports as it will allow you to save some space in your box. I say consider as you may be louder with the port facing back but you may not have enough room for the length of an aeroport facing back so technically a slot port would be better as it can be bent easier in the box to keep your port facing back and keep tuning. I used to have it pointed at my trunk but no air could get into my cabin because my box is the same width and height my trunk opening is.. and it literally made my trunk latch peices fall apart. so now until i get new parts it doesnt close 100% tight. i got a 6db jump by turning my box around. And not some little cheap Walmart amp. Be real you subs take power. A lot more goes into this than just amp power output. Im only hittin a 141.9 with my current setup... well before i put a 2nd battery in my trunk.. Im gonna see if that makes a difference this weekend. honestly i have no idea.. I had amp issues then a sub issue and all kinds of crazy stuff.. To teh ear it will do 150+ all day..
