what programs do you need to design a box and how do you find out what the box should be set to for hz?

Well one of the programs u can use is RE audio's box calculator

im looking for a fourth order bandpass set up for a blow through.. possibly a sixth order not sure.. does the re have that? and cant you buy programs to design the box after you find out dimensions you have?

2 commonly used programs for that purpose are bassbox and winisd. take your pick.

you select a tuning frequency based on your musical preference. low tunings are generally good for rap and such and higher tunings for

rock, jazz etc.

are those programs free? and i have four ssds and im going to do a blow through in the future with some more of those... just got to learn things before i set out to do it.. 40 hz decent? thats what it is tuned to now.

i don't think bassbox is free, but winISD is. What are you building the the blow-through for? burping? daily driver?. if for a daily driver, i would tune a tad lower. saaay 32-35 Hz. but

Whats the difference with winsid and the winisd pro??

with winisd im putting in the info for the fi ssd and on the fi website not all of the things were listed for the paramets such as.

and being a rookie.. i have no clue what those mean..
