tomypg
Ported will be louder and better on low low notes, depending on your tuning. Sealed is more tight bass, alot better for rock music and metal I believe, ported will be better for big ass bass notes from rap and hip hop. InfiniteRuckus
sealed takes more power to get the same sound output as a ported box. ported seem to get louder with less power but sometimes aren't as clean sounding if they aren't built well. keepinitloud
I'd do it ported and make sure you have enough room for a ported box for two fifteens its goin to be big Quote 06 chrysler 300C Hemi one mmatts dreadnaut 15 powered by a planet audio vx 2200d fosgate p200 running planet audio 8" midbass drivers and super compression tweeters stock battery and a stinger spv44 Irragi 300 amp alternator big 3 1/0 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/55075-system-in-my-300c/page__view__findpost__p__763656__fromsearch__1
rocknwoo
I think sealed has more flat responce across the board and ported is more peaky around tuned fq and more efficient Edited July 23, 2010 by rocknwoo
King Zick
Ported boxes can still sound great if tuned low 30-35hz. Ported is almost always a better option then sealed. Quote The King.
