Equipment Suggestions??? Bradley GT Build.

So my uncle has recently purchased a Bradley GT and is in the process of rebuilding it. He has left me in charge of the audio. He says that he wants a head unit, a set of components, and two 10"s because from past experience they are "punchier." Before the flame, "I" know it is all application, and insist on a single 12". I want to build a fiberglass enclosure molded into the small backseat area. Basically, I am looking for some suggestions on a good component set for a great price, also some good deals on a head unit, a single 12", and an amplifier. The current budget is $500.00 and I do not see it getting any more flexible.

Some of my concerns here are basically the components. In all honesty, would he be satisfied running the components off of just head unit power? (ie. he's never had a more than stock stereo) And if not, what would a good amplifier be to deliver power to both the components and the sub if need be. Thanks ahead guys!

Bingo brotha. He's rebuilding the engine this fall and I'm doing the audio. I understand what I am doing. I can handle it, but if there are some great deals out there on component sets or whatnot, a head up would be nice. I've never had a whole lot of experience with components, but bass I have plenty.
