Other then the problem I'm having with my headunit (has to be the onboard amp overheating) the deck is superb. Many features, and the sound quality is great. Not too sure about the new kenwood decks though. But the same ones like mine... x693, x993 have terrible glare problems in the sun and can't see anything. At night.... Ohhhh boy does it look nice. I love the usb cord in the back too, one of the reasonss I didn't go with pioneer. Also can hook your ipod up to it straight from the usb cord unlike alpine where you have to buy a special cable for the ipod. Some say the usb read times are slow but I don't notice it. It may be because It's a 8gb flash drive though.

After owning a Kenwood x693 I will never buy another piece of Kenwood equipment again. Go with a pioneer deck. Those units can take a beating, shock, and even water. I dropped one in about a quarter foot of water once and it worked perfectly still. This Kenwood can't even stay clean, clear, and loud for 10 minutes. ARGHHHHHHHH

I can't understand this though. Yes that company makes great things but if I spent thousands of money on their product and didn't receive ONE thing for free, or a nice discount of even 10%. I can't see myself repping that company. Some things I'll never understand.

Except being sponsored by that company, getting freebies, or even an amazing deal from the owner. Why do you put their company decal on your vehicle? I see a lot of decals on peoples vehicle and I can't see everyone of those people getting freebies (amp,woofer,speakers),or is sponsored, or get a great deals like half off if it retails at $2000 or something high. Discuss Just because that product is GREAT and you LOVE it, does not make sense to me just to wear their name on the vehicle alone.
