Guest
Thats how they are wired, and they are bridged off the amp. wait so you took a piece of wire and put it across the + and + on the amp itself and same with the -'s? you know you're supposed to bridge it on the woofers. Maroon97SL
That is the wiring diagram on the subs... the amp has 2 wires coming off of the + and 2 wires coming off of the negative. one wire for each terminal on the back of the box. fr34kout
I'm just going to assume you doubled in the picture, idk. Anyways this is what you need to do. Positive of amp to positive of Sub 1 Coil 1. Negative of Sub 1 Coil 1 to Positive of Sub 1 Coil 2. Negative of Sub 1 Coil 2 to Negative of amp. For 1 & 3 you want to put it on the outsides (like positive of channel 1 and negative of channel 2, the amp should show a line to show where to bridge) Now you can either run 2 more wires from the amp to the 2nd sub the same way, or you can run 2 more wires from where the amp plugs into the sub and connect those to the 2nd sub the same way. Guest
instead of talking about this wiring mess, get a better amplifier.

OP i can suggest a way for you to wire your woofers safely but its not really recommended because if there bass line in a song that isnt exactly 50% left and 50% right, the woofers will fight eachother. Guest
better picture, that is how they are wired. yes thats parallel, and the reason why your amp is blowing fuses. im honestly shocked how that amp didnt blow if its a 2 channel and you have it set as .5 ohms per channel. for 100-150 there is no monoblock amplifier that i know of that can produce 1000rms at 1 ohm. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17501_Crunch+GPV+2000.1+-GPV2000.1-.html pretty much the "best" thing for $150 and will do probably like 1000rms at 14.4v exactly. fr34kout
Why not help him fix his wiring instead of recommending a different amp? Wire up your subs like that for a 4 ohm load total (2 ohms per channel). You'll be seeing a lot less power, but you will stop blowing fuses.
