JayP
How Would I go about wiring a subwoofer and 4 speakers to a 4ch amp? The amp I have does 100rms at 4 ohms per channel. The 4 door speakers I have are about 95rms. The subwoofer is 300rms. The amp can do 300rms bridged on one channel. I was thinking about running rear speakers off headunit, front speakers off amp with 1/2 channels, and the subwoofer on 3/4 channels bridged. Is that possible? AMP specs: * RMS Power Range : 100-300 Watts * Number Of Channels: 4 * Built In Crossovers: Yes * Channel Separation: Yes Features * 4 x 100 into 4 Ohms * 4 x 150 into 2 Ohms * 2 x 300 into 4 Ohms Last time this amp was installed, some shop had 4 speakers and the woofer all plugged onto the amp. pheint_1
then yea, should work. but try to keep the amp in a ventilated area cause im sure its going to get warm after playing for some time. but them again im not the most experienced here, maybe other users should give a better opinion, best of luck though.
