theBroken Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 I already got a great ground for my amps. I got a block bolted to a flat body panel that I sanded down to bear metal. Now I'm adding a second battery and a second winch in the rear. Now here comes the noob question of the day. With the battery in the rear can I hook it up like a amp where I just find ground in the rear and then run the power up to the battery or do I have to run both the power and negative from the battery to the rear battery. Same question with the winch. It's just a electric motor, can I run 1 wire up to the power in the battery and a negative to a ground in the rear or do I have to run both wires (positive and negative) to the front battery.
