Need Wiring help

Hey SMD friends I need some wiring help please, here are the specs of my system.

Sub Specs:

2 15's Gravity GR-HQ15

1600 Peak

800 rms

DVC 4 0hm

Amp Specs:

Audiobahn A2X600HQ Rack-Mount 2-channel amp

- RMS Power Ratings:

* 4 ohm stereo: 300 watts x 2 chan.

* 2 ohm stereo: 600 watts x 2 chan.

* 1 ohm stereo:1200 watts x 2 chan.

* 4 ohm mono: 600 watts x 1 chan.

* 2 ohm mono: 1200 watts x 1 chan.

* 1 ohm mono: 2400 watts x 1 chan.

Now my question is:

Dual 4 ohms can be wired down to 1 ohm parallel (shown in picture), What does 1 ohm mono 2400 x 1 channel mean? If I wire my subs like the picture how do I wire my amp?

That means your amp is going to put out 2400 watts to 1 channel, aka a sub. Your amp probably has the option to bridge speakers, and plug them in accordingly.

Like the picture shows it comes out to 1 + and 1 - should I bridge it to get the 2400?

wtf thats a cool ass looking amp. but thats what audiobahn is about, bling and no performance.

all things aside, is strange how it can handle 1 ohm stereo only and 1 ohm bridged, which is the same as .5 ohm stereo. BUT yes you basically wire it like that. that amp can output just about 1600rms at 14.4v exactly (assuming amp is 70% efficient)

Thanks for the info so on my amp I'm bridged the wires + on 1 chan & - on the other.

Audiobahn does have some nice amp but yea alot of people say the performance aren't the best. I've had 3 Audionbahn amps and none of them have ever failed me or even go on protect mode. 1 amp I had was 1600rms & I hooked up 2 12s & 2 10s in bazooka tubes all were kicker cvrs. The amp never got hot. I need to upgrade amps soon looking to get a saz-3500 one of these days.
