roscoe if u tell me the exact model of the camera i can help u in detail

It is a JVC Mini DV it really doesn't say much on it....has the model # on the bottom of it though......... It is GR-D350U

No thats mini FIREWIRE :rolleyes:

you will need to hook up the camera to the computer using via firewire to mini firewire cable. Then turn camera on and set the camera to "vcr". find a capture program or any video editing software to capture the video. such as Final cut pro, adobe premier, Ulead video studio, i think u can do it through window movie maker as well(not sure,try that first and see)
