Rebel4055 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Bought a new DMM so I wanted to see if my subs are running the correct resistance but I'm not for sure on how to do that. The DMM has a ohm area with 2m 200k 20k 2k and 200. Which one should I select? Quote Rest In Peace mother. techforce Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 There's an entire thread on that... or you can google "properly set your amplifier gain" because there is a test tone you are supposed to play... IF you have a good ear... you can listed for it... (I know people are gonna argue with that one) but... yes you can... for your setup I think just going to the point that the bass starts to loose power or starts distorting, back it down a notch... It's not SUPER accurate... but will always get you in the safe zone... Quote
