AkPride
Just curious as what people think 8 of these in a walled off box from right behind the driver passenger in a WRX Subaru Impreza Wagon. my current setup was 4 12 BPS and its loud in a shared air space box with subs up port up but Ive had a "falling out" with Big Perm so Im looking for another brand to try and beat 4 18's in his tahoe. he hit a 153.6 so Im trying to find some 12's to do the work for me. Im looking for more of a show car with spl but Im more into all show and less numbers. so any feedback and can people tell me about the lvl 5 12's and I saw some where they make a lvl 6 do they make those in 12's? EricR
8 Level 5 12's. Hope you have about 30,000 watts and the electrical to support it. If you don't have at least 3k per sub you would be better off going with 4xl's. Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? sqsux
The level 6 you saw is a prototype, its not retailed yet. I have no personal experience with the level 5, but I like the XL's. You had just better have the power and electrical for 8 of them beasts. And don't think you need their highest level sub to get loud, I was doing 138's@25hz off of 1200 watts on an XL a couple days after I got it, brand new. EricR
I would go with the level 4 xl 12's then. That would be perfect power for them. Andrew2944r
The XL is probably DC's best all around sub and with the power your looking to run as Eric said it should be spot on. Quote Team Ampere Audio

kirill007
Well, it should, or else you really have F***ed up the box. The XL will be louder of the lower power, but will get a tad warmer.
