EricR
TC2 motor, esque drivers. Would work in sealed and ported enclosures. Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? I have them in a ported box right now, the port noise is horrible, it is a car toys box. Im either going to sell these or my 2 10" Pioneer champion series subs, i have no idea which to keep. Maroon97SL
Alright so sell the pioneers and build a better box for my 12"s, any idea on how big of box? and what htz to tune it at. I paid 50$ for the pair of pioneers, i can probably make a better profit on them anyway. Maroon97SL
i found a box calculator online this is what i get Vb = 2.595(ft3 ) F3 = 20.34 Hertz Fb = 21.54 Hertz Anyone give me the short version of what these numbers mean... Fb - the frequency that the vent needs to be tuned to. Isn't that super low tuning though? i was thinking of like 33 ~ 34 hz Edited July 12, 2010 by Maroon97SL Quote 2000 White Saturn SL2 Kenwood KDC-248U Head Unit 1 Rockrod Fosgate HX2 punch DVC 12 1 Rockford Fosgate R500-1 amp Stock Mids & Highs.
