i bought some titanium power CCA wire.. it's some JL audio sister company crap... but i unspool'd 50 feet of it, the whole run had 60 ohms of resistance. and i have like 100 feet of that in my car.. i bet if i ran OFC i could get a better score.

with cca you lose 20% of your power. i went cheap and got the sound quest wire and i'm losen 30% power and i'm usen it for the jumper wire between my to batteries. front battery reads 14.2 and the rear reads 13.4

Sounds like there is a problem with the install or battery and not the wire.... I have one run of klmx from front to back and have no problems..voltage is the same on both batteries....

Check your ground and power connections and test the battery

That is why insist on running OFC, and no cladded or tinned bullshit.

I usually stick with tinned copper around here. It rains a lot and is humid most of the time. Had a few OFC runs oxidize and corroc a few years back, so I quit using it or my under car runs, and I'm an asshole that has to match everything lol so I don't run OFC inside either, unless its the same brand and color.

edit-whatever wire you run, is ok to use for the big 3. just remember to fuse for the WIRE, not the alt. 250A fuse for CCA, not 140A for the alt. I suppose anything between 150-250 would work though. Same for the Run to your amp, I'd use the biggest fuse thats safe on the wire, in case you decide to add lights or anything that draws a little more current to the back. But again, as long as the fuse is larger than the amount of current you actually need, you'll be fine.

fyi u can run welding cable for about 3 bucks a foot and is rated 300amps up to 100 feet. tomorrow i'm running 2/0 welding cable

To be fairly honest, appearence is important to alot of people. And Welding cable is not that great to look at. Plus, at $3 a ft., you could spend another 40 cents at Knu and get the 1/0 Flex cable that will do 375amps at 20' (which is more in scope, I don't see 100' foot runs beeing used in a vehicle.)

ground is good battery been tested and fully charged but the wire is 100% aluminum strand core which equals power loss
