kinetik under the hood??

I'm planning on running a few kinetik 2400s in the back but for under the hood I'm not sure. I've seen 1400,1800 and heard 2000 fit with nothing moved and seen steve meade has the 3100 power master but I was thinking about putting the matching 2400 in the front?? And was wonder if the weather up here in michigan would get to cold for it? Thanks

I was trying to help him with this. Ive heard things about kinetics not liking the extreme cold we get here and then not start the truck.

ive got an 1800 under my hood...had it the last three winters, no problems. got two buddies with 1800s under theirs also no problems...and were up here in northern michigan.

Sounds good what do you think about the 2000 or maybe even the 2400 in a 04 denali

the 2400 will fit but like steve you will have to move the computer and remove the bracing. If I remember right the 2400 and 3100 are the same size. A 2000 would fit easier tho. I am about to put two up front in my 01 burban.

2 2000? Where you gunna put the other one?

passenger side fender well by the firewall and drivers side fender well by the headlight housing

those are the 2 battery locations

you'll have to notch the lip just wide enough for the battery to fit and fold it down

then move the PCM over a little bit but it will fit

Steve showed me how to get the D3100 in a couple days ago when I was at his shop
