raolito1980
Why not tap your door or around your headunit to see if it cuts out again? Maybe it could narrow down where that short is? Let me know how those powerbass components sound when you get your problem fixed. Quote 2012 GMC SIerra CC System Build Headunit--Stock Sub Amp--DC 2.0k Subs--2-SA8v2's Enclosure--Need one made!! skittlesRgood
my 1st guess would be that they need more power. but just the tweeter got louder? i would check everything again. 9 time out of 10 its user error and not product failure. did you run new speaker wire from the deck to the speakers or did you use factory wiring? is there a stock amp that should be bypassed? skittlesRgood
then its the elimination game. try to take one set out of the door and run new wires from the HU to the speakers while sitting on the seat, if they sound a lot louder then its a wiring problem. if they are still quiet then try another HU. if no change is made then its the speakers or crossover.
