Wilson
I've now have 2 old Fosgate Punch Power 1500bd's on the way and I ordered a pair of dc audio 12" xl's tonight. I think it's time to scrap my old box and do work! Since the amps only have 4 ga inputs, I may run a single 0 or 0/2 with a distribution/fuse block by the amps. Would the big wire need to be fused up front (by the bat) to be legal to a judge? I would like to add a battery in the back, but it may have to wait until I do the final draft this fall (plan to double my amps and subs, add alot of electric, tweak highs some). I know my current yellow top and big three won't do any good for those amps. Like I say, I don't expect to leave this set up too long, but is the single wire plan way too small for now? I do want to try and learn to compete with this, so I also must fuse the power wire legally. Anybody know if rear fuse only is illegal or just a terrible idea? Thanks for sharing your input.
