How to Build like this?

I am trying to build a trunk panel. I know how to fiberglass, but what i am confused about is getting the wood to curve like this.

The finished product hopefully will turn out to where i can remove it if i am leaving for a trip and need trunk space. What do you all think i should do to curve the wood like that?

Wood that "curves" per se is generally done by kerfing it. A kerf cut is cutting slits in the wood at predetermined depths and intervals, generally getting slightly tighter at the vertex of the curve in order to weaken it enough to bend it. Once it's bent, the slits will look almost like a solid piece, but still need complementary reinforcement. Steaming the wood will also accomplish the same effect, but it's dangerous for the integrity of the enclosure if you are inexperienced.
