Emoxihax Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 okay I have a 15" sub in my trunk, I just added two 10's to sit behind it in their own box. when I try to hook up the second amp I plugged in the first RCA's that go from the amp, then I noticed when I touch the top of the white on it makes this loud buzzing noise and my subs also boom for a second, what's up with this? I don't wanna blow up my car so anyone have any ideas? 2004 Volkswagen GLI 1 10" Skar VVX ^^^ Looking for an amp to run it, Pm me if you have one ^^^
JZeFF Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 I dont know exactly what its called.. but its perfectly normal. Its an electrical signal of sorts from your body, just basic interference... Nothing to worry about though. Unless they are on a different amp and crossed over differently, for example you would have the high pass on the amp to the 15 set at 50Hz, and the lowpass on the 10's set at 50Hz so they dont play the same notes, cause that will most likely end up causing cancellation, so the 15 will handle the bass below 50Hz and the 10's will handle bass above 50Hz.
