willie3719 Yes mate they are AWESOME on the midbass and even down to around 30-35hz! I can leave the subs off and just kick back and chill with the front end!

The funny thing is though, when the subs are off, the mids move so much air, it makes the subs act like passive radiators on the lows! hahaha!

I wanted to have a screen in the roof to allow connection of a rear view camera and a DVD player so I could have flexibility in the cabin;

DVD/navigation

DVD/browsing the web

Rear view camera working while driving

Rear view camera/web browsing

Rear view camera/playing music

etc etc

I chose a Veba 'rear view' screen (Veba AV70MM) simply for the shape of it looking like a rear view mirror...having 2 inputs was perfect for what I needed to achieve the above.

Also locating it where an OEM rear view mirror would go would allow me for a 'natural' rear view by simply looking up

First off, make some templates...

Transfer these onto wood and cut out

Assemble

Time to strip apart the screen and flush it into the build

I know its a bit bulky but you adjust to live with it lol! Still have perfect view of the road...and with a bit of know how, its removable just incase I didnt want to have it up

The front section needed a bit of smoothing in

The edges of the roof needed finishing off, so I needed to either get the edges of the standard roof lining (which is now in the bin), or fabricate some of my own....out came some more FG and fabric!

With me being me, I thought better of the 8's idea and sold them on...deciding on building a normal center console and something that looked a damn site prettier to...

With the 8's shifted, pen was put to paper again, and another design was knocked up...

This design is to house my;

Switches

Epicenter control

2 Voltmeters

Headunit

Air Ride controls

Buttons and read out for Epic 160

Time to update on the amp builds me thinks!

Here is the 2 SPL Dynamics S6002 and the S1200 (which was sold...used the run the 4 8s originally)

Each S6002 is wired to 2ohm per channel, resulting in each amp doing 2 x 500wrms...so 1kwrms on tweeters and the same on the 7's!

DSC04889.jpg

Mocking up the board for the S6002's

DSC06011.jpg

Lots of timber was cut to create the framework for the amp racks...I was just going to use MDF to mount the amps directly on...but I wanted something a bit stronger to ensure no flex for whatever reason!

DSC06204.jpg

These were then knocked up into this
