Maroon97SL
Say i was going to get 2 12" DVC subs each coil is 4 ohms, or 2 ohms which would be the better option? How would i wire it? http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg like that? 2000 White Saturn SL2 Kenwood KDC-248U Head Unit 1 Rockrod Fosgate HX2 punch DVC 12 1 Rockford Fosgate R500-1 amp Stock Mids & Highs. Budget Build, I spent about 330$ for the setup. but its a crx, if you cant fart and do a 150 in a crx there is something wrong...

HHR Ed
Ok so the amp makes most power at 2 ohms. So you can do the wiring like the ink you have, but use dual 2ohm subs and you will have a final impedance of 2ohms for your amp. HHR Ed
whatever you can afford that comes in dual 2ohm. You can also get single 4ohm coils. Every DVC I've owned has hit the lows better than the SVC. But maybe 150$-200$ 2000 White Saturn SL2 Kenwood KDC-248U Head Unit 1 Rockrod Fosgate HX2 punch DVC 12 1 Rockford Fosgate R500-1 amp Stock Mids & Highs. But maybe 150$-200$ Maybe cause you had more power, but a singe VC version and DVC version of the same sub with the same power, should have no perceived difference in sound. And nowadays, alot of single vc subs are actually DVc internally wired to one. I highly doubt they are DVC though. 2000 White Saturn SL2 Kenwood KDC-248U Head Unit 1 Rockrod Fosgate HX2 punch DVC 12 1 Rockford Fosgate R500-1 amp Stock Mids & Highs.
