Juice0723 Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 Hey guys, I got a 1991 chevy cheyenne reg cab 2wd. It has a 4.3L v6 in it. I went to a mechanic and he said I should swap out the engine. Because I took it to him and the engine leaks oil like crazy. The mechanic took a look at it and said the whole bottom end of the engine is done. And it would be cheaper to get a used engine and do a swap. How hard is it to do a swap like put a 350 in it or something along those lines. I will get a mechanic to do it for me.
