I clip them but not for more than 15 seconds. I do not play below tuning frequency. Right now it's in the process of drying in a day or so I will have results. After this last show EVERYTHING will be torn out and the subs will be reconed to 12's. Time to hit 45's. 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. Team gg Team DOA My Videos

matt402 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 i was going to suggest reconing to 12s... whats the net volume & tuning on the box? also, is that the sub closer to the port? subs can unload if u play below tuning OR have too big of a box.

I don't unload my subs.. I don't play below 29 (which is what it's tuned to). Box 1.5 per sub which is a little larger than recommended but 1-1.5 is fine for the 10's. But I will be tearing everything out, making these 12's and I might add another 2500, who knows. I got the money, but crump and I don't have the time.
