bokeson Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 ok so my friend just bought a nice brand new pioneer cd play for his 1983 mustang. since its so old we had to special order a wiring harness specifically for that car. now we got the cd player and the wiring kit and i wired everything up the way it should be. we hooked it all up in the car and guess what...NOTHING! so i need to find out what to do. this also happened in my moms van when replacing the deck. me or nobdy else can figure out the problem. any ideas guys?

evermaxx Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Best thing would be to run your own wires.. but if it was hooked up correctly shouldnt have a problem.. re-check your wires, and the wires you connected. bokeson Posted August 1, 2010 Author Report Posted August 1, 2010 well see we've checked all the wires and the wires coming from the fuse box dont match up at all with the wiring harness for the car. im not sure how hard it would be to run wires from the fuse box
