Rebel4055 Posted August 4, 2010 Author Report Posted August 4, 2010 I think that's right but it really hurts my eyes trying to figure your drawing out. Still could be the amp's subwoofer outputs. (basically where you put the speaker wire on the amp) but more technical Yeah my eyes were going blurry LOL! And yeah I understand and already gave him the bad news. Any more info is appreciated! Slawsen Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 (edited) He only has power going to 1 coil according to that drawing... it shows you connecting 1 coils positive and negative together...not bridged between both coils. Basically that 1 coil is doing nothing Wire each sub in series, then the both together in parallel for a 2 ohm load Edited August 4, 2010 by Slawsen Quote 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud.

Same thing i posted still applies. THE COIL ON THE RIGHT OF EACH SUB IS JUST BEING CONNECTED TO ITSELF Edit: maybe you should label them I.E: COIL 1, COIL 2 Edited August 4, 2010 by Slawsen Quote 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud.

Slawsen Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 They jumped power from right sub to the left. Either that drawing is just poorly done, or your friend doesn't know how to wire a sub...i'm totally confused as to what you're trying to explain to me.. :S Quote 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud.

It confused me too but I think I get how they did it. They hook the 2 connections coming from the amp to one sub then just added a jumper wires from the right sub to left. EDIT: If I have to tomorrow I will take pictures and a video if I can't explain it right this moment. Edited August 4, 2010 by Rebel4055 Quote Rest In Peace mother.
