Massive p3000..dead or alive??

i have this amp laying around and wasnt sure what went wrong with it until i cracked it open and saw one of the capacitors looked destroyed. The amp stil powers on but has a constant blink (no stable power) so im guessing this could be replaced and back working normally? nothing else on either board is destroyed except for that 1 capacitor. Does anyone know what the cause of that could be?

sounds like to me it was getting too much juice or had too much load thats all i could think of

yea thats what i think, i had 2 L7 15 dual 4 ohms on it...probably had them wired wrong

if you had them wired wrong then the subs would shit in your pants.. what amp is that you have??

i think the cap just couldn't handle itself , how long have you had the amp

i'd wait till one of the amp gurus on here tell you whats wrong, i wouldnt trust anyone elses opinions except for them. Boon being one of them off the top of my head but theres more that i just dont know
