two head units

i have an oppertunity to get a flip out head unit but i have a nice one that doesnt flip out but it doesnt work with ipods but my non flip out head unit doesnt work with ipod and i was wondering if there is a way to wire the two together in my car so i get the best of both worlds with out getting a double din any help would be appreciated thanks

if you havent already bought it, sell the one you have now and buy one that will have option to plug your ipod
