HELP

I have a 2004 ford explorer and a few days ago i got out of my car to go in a store i turned my cd player off (kenwood KDC-MP428) when i got back into the car the cd player would not come back on. when i got home i took the cd player out unpluged the harness and plugged it back in it came on and played normal i rode around for about 10 min and it cut back off. i went back home pulled it back out and put in another kenwood cd player it cuts on but will not play radio or cds. Pulled the 2nd kenwood out and put factory headunit in comes on but will not play cds or the radio all harnesses are in tight and antenna is in good. Today i decided to try turning the internal amp off in the KDC-MP428 it stayed on but normally subs would work they did not. i checked all of the speakers with a 3.5 mm headphone jack that i got from radio shack and some speaker wire i touched it directly to where the pins would go on the harness all 4 speakers worked so they are not grounded out. i am now lost and dont know what the problem is? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

are the grounds right and is the truck come orginal with a bose system?

Did you bypass the amp? or it has a 6 disc changer seperate?

Theres a ground wire in the boot of your door, I can bet you a thousand dollars its broken. I somewhat had this problem. My radio would shut off and come back on and my door ajar light would never shut off. Its tight as hell but that little rubber thing that connects from the car to the door moves over just enough so you can see all the wires. Check every black wire, I can almost guarantee you one is either broken or breaking which is why your radio is shutting on and off.

it was close to what you sayed it was i had 4 tweeters wired and one of the wires went ubder my foot ant at the same spot i had a line split the wires where touching i never tested the tweeters thanks though!!!!!!
