Guest
i found a RTA program that tells me my peak tone in my jeep is 40hz just wanna figure out how many db's 40hz? seems about right. you cannot get an accurate program unless you get a termlab. its the only way. all those RTA meters/programs use normal microphones that can only read up to like 125-129db, not really accurately IIRC. the termlab is an actual pressure sensor so it can read higher decibel ratings and are closely calibrated so each meter is as accurate as possible to the next
TLEJ
More around 110db . It's just going to use your computers microphone. It can give you a VERY rough estimate. See if a shop can meter you for free

The SPL-Labs meter is proving to be a very accurate meter. Plus it's pretty affordable. Quote TEAM FLEX ISSUES Car: 1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal 24" Rims HU: 7" Carputer, Planet Audio EQ, iPhone. TLEJ
Berto, SPL Lab comes with an external microphone. It's not JUST software. EDIT: I see what you were saying, but it's not what Kranny meant xD Edited August 11, 2010 by TLEJ
