IXxCaraudioxXI
I read the post on here already about firing the subs up and the ports back, my question is what is the correct way to go about doing that? I've done a couple setups like that and never had much luck getting it loud. Is it better to have the port at the bottom, top, or center? Subs all the way to the back, centered, or forward? I've got everything in a wall right now, but want to take it out for now so I can have rear seats again. I know I'll loose some db but hopefully not to much. I'm running (4)15" JBl GTI's in a 2000 Tahoe and I don't want the box too tall, so I wanted to try this setup again. Any comments or help would be appreciated. Thanks. Ernesto
It all depends on the vehicle. Every car is different. In a tahoe I would go CRX style (subs up ports back) or both subs up & ports up.
BumpinLow
Just curious as to what you would do in an extended cab GMC Sierra with one 18" and the rear bench seat taken out :^
IXxCaraudioxXI
I have had really good luck with firing the sub forward and the port into the side of the vehicle. Have the box sitting about 6 inches away from the side of the truck on the side with the port.
