mxman38 Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 I had a shop run all my doorspeaker wires and bypass my bose amp (06 traiblazer ss) that was about two months ago... every now and then if im on a rough road or whatever my speakers start to crackle and i hear mad alt whine, at first it was just my right front door, now it all of them. I had alt whine vaguely on the ride home from work(bearable), but as soon as i pulled in the driveway it had stopped. at first i thought it was a pinched wire, but now im clueless, it doesn't last long enough for me to test rca's and whatnot. I know its a shot in the dark, but does anyone have an idea? im sure the shop will say until it does it for us we wont know, and give me the run-around.

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! mxman38 Posted August 12, 2010 Author Report Posted August 12, 2010 no power is ran on the drivers side, RCAs and speaker wire on the opposite side, which even if they were together i would hear it all the time, not just in and out for a minute or so. My 4 channel is grouned too my battery, battery i grounded to seat... i will double check to make sure its all tight though.

mxman38 Posted August 12, 2010 Author Report Posted August 12, 2010 my longest is under 4ft... all stinger/kicker after that in 0 gauge. Would that explain why it comes and goes tho?
smokeumtires Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 usually for highs amps to keep ground noise down, you try to keep it within 12" from the amp..... 4ft is kinda long for your highs amp. RCA quality can cause Feedback too Just what my understanding is
mxman38 Posted August 14, 2010 Author Report Posted August 14, 2010 after alot of testing, i narrowed it down to my amp, or RCAs. If i push the rcas at an angle on the amp it stops completely, s i assume its my amps connection or rcas. They are snug, but for some reason something is going on.
