Fuse holder and the big 3??

Recommended Posts

There s no fuse on the standard wire that runs from the alternator to the battery, and all you re doing is adding a better quality cable when you do a BIG 3 , so I dont see why one would be required.

my motto: hit it, quit it, never admit it :D

Because the original wire was done by professionals in a factory, not some guy working on his car in his driveway. People make mistakes.

You don't NEED fusing, even if you're doing it yourself. Just make sure your wire rating matches up with amperage, it's not laying on anything that could melt/tear it, and all your connections are good. If it was done professionally then thats your choice to have faith in whoever did it.
