Would It Be Safe?

Recommended Posts

Just bought 2 15" Treo CSX's and two Ultimate T3-1000D amplifiers which gives out 2700x1 @ 2 ohm @ 13.8v and 2000x1 @ 12v

I have a yellowtop and a stock battery that came with the vehicle (stck batt actually puts out more than the yellowtop) so im going to put the yellowtop in the back, do the big 3, but I dont have the money to buy a bigger alternator quite yet, do you think I will be safe to hook this up with the big 3 and 2 batteries without getting MAJOR voltage drops?

Big3 and another batt will help, but you wont know for shure until it's hooked up and pulling current. If you can get voltage readings while upping the volume you'll know where you stand. That's alot of power for a stock alt,so I'm certain you'll have low volt drop

i dont know about the volt readings on the headunits, but take a volt meter and measure the voltage at all necessary places (at the batteries, amps)
