memphisbasshead Posted August 23, 2010 Report Share Posted August 23, 2010 ok i need some help with making a ported box. my trunk space dimensions are 36 inches wide by 22 inches deep by 17 inches high. i made a box that was 36x16x17 and i practically had no trunk space. the box is for the 15 thats in my sig. the box sounded great but took up alot of my trunk space. so what i'm asking is if i can wall off my single sub where the back seats flip down. but the only think is i've never done a wall before so i kinda need some help. the opening for were the seats flip down is 36 inches wide by 17 inches high but its at a slanted angle. i'll try to take some pics and post them so you can get a better idea of it. but i really want to know is what i need to do to wall off that sub and try to save some of my trunk space. (i want to get about 3.4 cubes net tuned to 33 hz with alot of port area like 18-23 sq in per cubic ft.)also my car is a 2008 kia rio.
