hey i need a few more things for my system build.. as of right now the power plant is a clif designs 2400 watt amplifier, hifonics hfi 55.4 and 2 kicker L5 15's. i have been getting all of my system installation accessories from a local shop and knukonceptz! i have

the klmx 4 gauge power and ground wire for both amps

25 ft of bullz audio 0 gauge power wire

14 gauge xscorpion wire for my doors and tweeters

karma ss rca cables

kollosus fleks 8 gauge for my speaker terminals

250 amp circuit breaker

distribution block and circuit breaker

5 farad spl capacitor

im trying to figure out what else is necessary so when i get my ride and take it to install the audio i dont get shafted out of anything! when this was installed in my old car the idiots had my capacitor and amplifier hooked up to 8 gauge wire.. im sure thats why my amp was getting extremely hot. but help me if you can on what you suggest i buy! thanks

looks fine. Probably don't 8awg for the sub terminals with this setup though, but nothing wrong with overkill.

thanks! i'll just do 12awg to the terminals along with the wiring of the subwoofers! quick question... are circuit breakers better to use than fuse holders or are they about the same?

I wouldn't really know, I haven't used a circuit breaker. I'm sure it would work, it would be way cheaper for a fuse and a fuse holder though.

circuit breakers can be effective for you, but overtime may become worn down and not work as well.
