Plans were for a cascade designs omega 15" on saz1500d but I came across a blown level 5 with a brand new recone for an unbelievable price so plans changed and I sold the omega. Heres a list of whats currently in and also a few other things I plan on getting. JVC KD-S100 DC Power 270xp XS Power S3400 under the hood Deka 9a31 in the back 2 runs of Stinger HPM 1/0 DC Level 5 15" D1 (wired to .5) Sundown saz1500d US Amps MD22 Alpine Components 40 sqft of SS Damp Pro in the trunk Need to get: Another saz1500d Different components Different Headunit Heres a few pics of the box and sub. Box was made by Dustin at D&L Audio Technologies and is 4 cuft tuned to 32hz. I've been so anxious to get it up and playing I kind of just threw everything in there so all the wiring needs to be cleaned up. Will be doing that tomorrow and should have a vid or two. i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

EricR Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 Ok so I took everything out from the trunk so I could rewire everything so it was nice and neat. When I put the deadner in I never put the carpet back in so I figured I would do that and to do that I had to take the back seat completely out well I figured I would mount the amps where the back seat was to keep them cooler and more room in the trunk. Well I have somewhat of a problem. I have horrible engine noise and the rca's aren't anywhere close to the power and ground wires. Well I blew the fuses in the saz1500 and on the way to autozone to get more fuses I notice that the engine noise went away completely. I can't figure out wtf is the problem. I also turned the box around facing forward and it sounded like ass compared to facing to the rear, way lower and louder facing to the rear. I know I know, it wont be louder unless I seal it off...so I may be doing that next week sometime. Will try to get a vid later on, all I have is my iPhone so it wont be the best quality. i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

lukaQ Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Sounds like you have poor ground... I would recheck every power wire, make sure it has good solid connection Got carbon fiber dust cap???
