battery dead

I bought a kinetik hc-2000 about 5 month ago to use as a secondary battery was working fine till I notices alot of voltage drop so I decided to disconect the main battery to see if the secondary battery was working as it turned out that the battery was dead no charge at all.So I put the charger on it and it will not get any charge battery was still dead.Any idea as to what could of coused the battery to go dead.I'm running a HIFONICS BXI2600D on 2 15" L7 and a ZXi40.4. for mids...

Check the fuses on the power wire from your front battery to the rear. If they've popped recently it'll cause the rear battery to go flat since it's not getting a charge any more. There's a variety of funny ways to pop those fuses.

And what were you charging it with? Ordinary car battery chargers can't charge large AGM car audio specific batteries. 1. they can't output enough voltage to get the job done right and 2. the half-assed float voltage of a fairly drained AGM battery is enough to make a regular 'smart charger' think that it's charged and turn off.

It's kinda hard to kill a battery like a Kinetic.
