Moofs Posted September 22, 2010 Report Share Posted September 22, 2010 So I'm currently running a pioneer tsw303 12. It's a 250 rms sub getting 240 watts rms from the amp. Well I went into a pawn shop today and they have a MTX t5512 thunder 5500 sub, also a 12. It's rated at 300 rms. I can probably get it for like 25-30 bucks. Does anyone suggest I do? Basically would it be worth it? My pioneer is new and this one is fairly used. Would I see a noticeable difference in SQ or anything. What do you think?
