phil2park2 Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 I am currently about to start on my 2nd build and im am looking for a new ho alt. i drive an 04 Pt cruiser, and i have been looking around for ho alts that will fit my car and my budget. Mechman makes one that is a direct fit but its 650, and i would prefer not to spend that much IF I don't have to. I believe the one on Power Bastards is a universal , but its only 300. and i want to know if anyone has any experience good or bad with Power Bastards. Oh yeah the amp that gonna suck all that spendiferous power im gonna need is a dd m3a that I plan run at .5 ohm daily on 2 HDC3 12s

They take a small gm case alternator and tell you to make your own bracket for it. My advice? Look elsewhere. Mechman DC Etc. i resolve to be a nicer moderator. Tercel build R.I.P.
