BGGD_GMC Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 alright whats up guys im building my first ported system and i need some help here, alright i have a 1995 gmc sonoma single cab, my question is what would sound louder haveing 2 12 l7s or 3 12 l7s i have people saying 2 12s would be better and others saying 3 12s so i wanted to take this to people who actualy know there stuff, im doing a cut thru but im still limited on space (bagged), my measurments are 60W, 21D, 17H...on the RF website it said i have roughly "10.23 Cubic Feet" and if anyone would help with a box design i would realy appreciate it Thanks!!!!

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.

IMO Kickers website says MIN 1.75 CU = 5.25cu(3) 3.50cu)2) MAX 3.25 CU = 9.75cu(3) 6.50cu(2) the RF website says i have 10.23cu but thats just for an empty box no subs, no braceing and what not
