uhoh_45 Posted February 5, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 5, 2012 updates- so after ripping everything out and wanting to do a diffferent thing i realized the vehicle was to rusty to really cut up and modify where i wanted so i decided to throw everything back in and add some new things so ripped out the amp/ wire amp out bus bars coming out passenger seat out to re due the rcas and now the building comes into play started off with some flat bar i had layin around from old sign i "dumpster dove" for and the garage now back to installing everything got everything back in grinding down paint to weld and a teaser pic of whats to come R.I.P! uhoh_45 Posted February 5, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 5, 2012 drilling holes to tap them working on buddys 300 installing deck- nav- sat radio and blue tooth now back to the lumina it was gettin cold so out came the heater the deck mounting plate tab snapped so i made new one for it out metal switched out the deck to an alpine got the amp all mounted and i got the deck all installed in the 300 heres a distance video to show how loud she is after adding the amp only 1 set of powerbass 5.25" comps R.I.P! uhoh_45 Posted March 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 Updates some coupling bolts welded up to some angle iron with hole drilled into it attached to seat belt bolt drilled some holes in some flat bar and bent it up to fit the seat mount 2x4 screwed to it glued down the mdf with 3/16" area routed out so the box is flush and its bolted in for now while glue dries (the alt hread will be unscrewed and box will be put in and bolted down to vehicle as well) R.I.P! uhoh_45 Posted March 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 so it starts out with box i built hmm like 6+ years ago when i started car audio not knowing shit about anything and its sat never used holding up my work bench haha to begin with - no bracing and port only 4" deep so tuned to 48+ haha stupid i know single baffle (box under bench) then started working out some ideas wanting to reuse as many old box components as i can before i throw them all out...... im sick of keeping this shit just laying around so old baffle for 2 18s from exploder wall played around with that idea and ended up not doing it then found old baffle for 4 15s in explorer and figured that couldnt go to waste 4.5" thick stacked mdf haha heavy little bastard cut her down to size with table saw now for some re enforcement haha 10' of 3/16"x4" plate and 16' of 5/8" all-thread ready for glue and steel plate to clamp down (1 on top 1 on bottom of port) R.I.P!
