Loudbassforall
I got a 2000 Ford Explorer 2 door sport, and stock electrical. I think that my Alt is around 130amp??. Any way, I'm getting a SAZ1500d and I'll be needing a second battery in the back because I am to cheap to buy an alt. I also got a rockford 400x4 for my door speakers. Could anyone tell me what battery I should get? I am looking at the D3400 and I want to make sure that it will run my amp without clipping. Oh yeah and Im upgrading the Big 3 in 1/0 as well. thebiggmann12
stock alt is fine with that low of wattage, im running a 105 amp alt on the stock from 2003 batt and a 1500d and i drop to mid 12s full tilt. id get the 3100 if ur going to spend the money for the extra breathing room....but the 3400 would be fine. dugee81
i would honestly say D3100 under the hood would do the trick for you, good sir. Nathan @ XSpower
The D6500 would fit in the stock position and would work fine for you with that system. I you just want to add in a secondary battery the 3400 would work.
