holdenater
I started using a online port calculator. When calculating for port length it asks for the enclosure volume. Well my box design (not including port area) is 7 cubes. My question is: Is the enclosure volume asking for recommended volume for the sub? or Is the volume asking just the entire volume of your enclosure? Because once you calculate the port length you can then find out how much area your port will take up in your enclosure. Which will take away from my 7 cubes. I just want to know what are they meaning by volume. -Hobby-
The recommended area is almost always a net area. The area left over after removing the sub displacement, bracing displacement and port displacement. And yes Torres calculator is the shit.
