Sammitch0 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Share Posted October 5, 2010 I have the box build but I want a laminent type look like the Stormtroopers white box I went to my local store and White Gloss Laminent is $140 for the amount I need and the woman says it scratches extremely easy... what did he use or what is the next best thing that's cheap? Sammitch0 Posted October 5, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2010 I dont think of it like that I think 140+ is not worth it when the actual box structure was $50 including glue etc. I don't want to pay anymore than $50 for cover material (bed liner, clotch/fabric or laminent.) the AP1500.1D is a great amplifier for the price I picked mine up for $160 shipped but I've seen them go for as little as $140 new. It runs 1OHM @ 1500rms quite well it heats up but nothing to worry about it just gets warm. It requires 14.4v to do rated power though and we all know thats not always feasable (im running stock electrical with two amplifiers so I hit the low/mid 12v usually 12.5 on full tilt.) Sammitch0 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 Seriously pick one up you're not really losing out it does about rated on good electrical for cheap as hell I like it so far after 6 months it has never protected or failed even on hard clips and heat.
